The owners of the business are Simone and Yanique Hylton. Who are sisters and powerful business women who together have built the natural hair care industry here in South Florida. They have built an amazing Brand that is recognized for optimal service and top notch skill when it comes to caring for hair and keeping it strong and beautiful. Natural trend setter is the first natural hair care center in south Florida and has become a leader in Natural hair care industry nationally. As one of the first commission base black operations in this market they have definitely made there mark on the industry. Building operations and creative techniques these sisters have built a seamless operation that has set the standard and raise the bar in the industry for over 12 years and counting. Known for there power house shows and recognition in National magazines. These sisters have put together an Annual hair presentation that raises money for numerous of charities and gives the community cultural awareness and opens them to hair options available to them and many different textures. They have also created a amazing training program to expose hair stylist to a growing unstoppable industry through there systems and styling techniques.

Simone and Trudy Hylton, owners of Natural Trend Setters Hair Salon, were born of Jamaican heritage and raised in New York then relocated to Florida to set trends naturally, as the first and best natural hair care salon in South Florida. Simone is known as the creative visionary and Trudy is known as the business savvy executive of Natural Trend Setters. These sisters have been in business over 12 years, during this period they have opened four salons and are currently operating two very successful salons in South Florida. Their future plans include expanding and franchising the Natural Trend Setters brand, as well as, continuing to offer more training workshops online and on location to raise the bar in the natural hair care Industry.

The definition of a Trend Setter:
It all starts with a desire that leads to an idea that forms into a plan which turns into action. With progressive actions and thinking outside of the box, a niche develops, giving Natural Trend Setters their own corner in the natural hair care Industry. Natural Trend Setters has successfully branded their unique niche for more than 10 years throughout the Industry. They cater to a wide range of clientele including women, children, men, and celebrities with processed, color treated, weaved and natural hair.

Natural Trend Setters participates in hair competitions and hair & fashion shows to continue strategically branding, marketing and promoting their business. In 2008 Natural Trend Setters won first place in the World Natural Hair competition held in Atlanta, Georgia with a concept that focused on thinking outside the box. It is with this positive leadership style and more than 25 years of professional experience, training program developed by Master Stylists Simone and Trudy Hylton and style techniques that have dominated the Industry.

Natural Trend Setters’ techniques are rooted in Caribbean and African traditions, giving top notch service, creating an atmosphere that embraces culture and natural beauty. When treating relaxed or color treated tresses they focus on Natural alternatives to styling with products and techniques.

Consultation Policy
“A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION IS REQUIRED for all new clients. This guarantees that our stylists are able to introduce you to the Trendsetter philosophy and give you a personalized, in depth hair analysis.

Consultations are available 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday.

Cancellation Policy
Natural Trendsetters require a 24-hour notice to cancel any appointment. We extend one courtesy “no show” appointment to all clients. All future appointments made after the courtesy no show will require a 50% deposit.

Deposit Policy
All braiding and twisting services require a non-refundable $50.00 deposit, if the service is cancelled or rescheduled, the deposit will be credited to any future appointment.

Pricing Policy
All Natural Trendsetters prices are based on the hair’s condition, texture, and length. An accurate price will be quoted after a proper hair analysis and client profile has been created by a Natural Trendsetter stylist. All services are a la carte, unless otherwise noted.
